North East Reviews was set up in 2014 by the North East Artist Development Network to increase the amount of critical writing around new performance work in the region.

NEADN employs a team of 10 freelance reviewers, who receive a small contribution to their time and expenses. You can read more about them here.

North East artists and companies are encouraged to submit requests for reviews – click here for more details. Priority is given to shows being presented at venues who are members of the Network, and artists and companies must be based in the North East or you will not be considered.
